Rubber Ducky, Blood Bath, J'Acuzzi, and Tuba
The Drain Teaser Quartet is a collection of four easy-to-learn, fast-to-play card games. Each game offers a complete, standalone experience, while gameplay and clues across all four decks connect to a larger story. Fun and quirky, each game rewards strategic thinking and a curious mind.
Rubber Ducky is sweet, silly, and full of splashy fun. Blood Bath is for those who prefer a little danger in their bath toys. J’Acuzzi is a questionable take on French history. And Tuba is surreal, playful, and delightfully strange.
In each game, players compete to fill Baby’s bath with an improbable assortment of “toys” — but don't overflow the tub, or you’ll be in trouble when Baby’s parents get home!
Each game is available individually, but a four-month subscription saves you 25% — that’s four games for the price of three! Get a new game delivered to your door each month for four months.
BUT WAIT — THERE’S MORE!
The Drain Teaser Quartet isn’t just a collection of card games. These are games with a secret.
Each ordinary-looking deck conceals puzzles, ciphers, and clues that draw observant players into an elaborate alternate reality game. Behind it all is a team that has designed puzzles for The Game at Microsoft, the MIT Mystery Hunt, and top escape rooms.
The decks are supposedly produced by the shadowy organization The Seventeen. As you investigate your first deck, you’ll be invited to join Black Letter Labs, a fictional group of do-gooders whose members will guide you through the adventure.
The Drain Teaser Quartet is ideal for fans of puzzle hunts, escape rooms, ARGs, and off-beat card games. Puzzles range from challenging to formidable — or, as our playtesters put it, “fiendish” to “brain-curdling.” But Black Letter Labs’ online help system, free with every deck, offers hints and solutions to keep you moving forward.
Each deck delivers hours of puzzle-solving alongside an entertaining card game. Investigate alone or with friends, and compare notes with fellow players online as the adventure unfolds.
It took more than a village to bring Drain Teaser to life. Meet some of the artists behind the games.
Ages 14+. Card game: about 10 minutes per round. Hidden puzzles: hours and hours of puzzling adventure! Available only in the US.
