Drain Teaser Quartet

After a long hiatus, the creators of Black Letter Labs return with the Drain Teaser Quartet — a challenging, story-driven subscription of four puzzling artifacts. Crafted with the same signature attention to realism and detail, this new series features more puzzles than ever.

Subscribers receive one artifact per month: a unique, fully playable card game ostensibly produced by the shadowy organization known as the Seventeen. Once you begin work on the first deck, you’ll be invited to join the do-gooder group Black Letter Labs, whose virtual members will lead you through this year’s adventure.

The Drain Teaser Quartet is ideal for fans of puzzle hunts, escape rooms, ARGs, and quirky card games. Puzzles range from challenging to formidable (or, as some playtesters described them, “fiendish” to “brain-curdling”), so the experience is not intended for the faint of heart — but Black Letter Labs’ robust help system provides hints and solutions to keep every player moving forward.

Each artifact delivers hours of puzzle-solving fun as well as entertaining game play. Work alone or with friends, then compare your progress with others as the experience unfolds.
